Q: Does iSteady Pro 4 support all action cameras connect and control?


iSteady Pro 4 only support GoPro 11/10/9/8/7/6/5 (*GoPro 7 white & silver version are not supported due to lack of Smart Remote)


Q: After iSteady Pro 4 and GoPro are connected for the first time, will they be automatically paired for the next time?


After GoPro 11/10/9/8/6 is connected with iSteady Pro 4, they will be automatically paired.

However, for GoPro 7/5 you will need to reconnect them every time when the device reboots.


Q: Why can’t GoPro 7 control the recording?


GoPro 7 can control recording by just selecting ‘Connect Device’ – ‘GoPro App’ after completing the regular connection, and then single press the power button of gimbal to wake up the recording control.


Q: Why does the gimbal vibrate after powering on?

A: 1. Make sure to mount the camera before powering on the gimbal.

    2. For some lightweight action cameras, you need to reduce gimbal motor power through the app (Hohem Gimbal – Setting – Motors options)


Q: Why the phone app cannot be connected with the gimbal via Bluetooth?

A: 1. Enable phone Bluetooth (Enable ONLY)

    2. Turn on the gimbal

    3. Launch Hohem Gimbal app

    4. Select “iSteady Pro 4 ”

    5. Click “CONNECT DEVICE ” (Important! The Bluetooth has to connect in the app!)
